I have received a number of queries to the effect:

"Are these answers correct?"

I can't really tell you because I don't know!

The ACTUAL bandwidth between jmw2-lane and jmw7-lane
is 155Mbps ATM which is equivalent to 130Mbps IP.
One way latency is about 150 usec (as in micro seconds).

However, it is definitely the case that is someone
else is running at the same time you are, the results
WILL BE perturbed.

You are free and encouraged to find other systems
to test on (as soon as you are sure that you aren't
launching DoS attacks).  You can also test using
regular ping and ensure that the results returned
by your program are reasonably consistent with
regular ping.
