Subject: MP1, MP2 and quiz

(This message is being sent to all CPSC 101 section 302 students)

I will be sending out MP1 evaluations shortly.  If you received a
a zero (or other bad grade) and wish to submit you can resubmit
as often as you want.  If you do so you must TELL ME so that I
can re-evaluate, AND anything you submit will be subject to the
late penalty applicable on the day of the resubmission.

If you want to go ahead and take the 0,  I'll send you a correct
mirror.c if you ask.  The good side of that is that the TOTAL of ALL the
milestone components of the major project will count less than
the final submission of the major project.  Because of that I'm
not likely to send out any additional freebies though.

The next two project components (gray.c and fade.c) are due this
week and are described in mp2.f08.txt in the assns directory.  Basically
all you need to do here is make copies of mirror.c and make minor
modifications. Do gray.c BEFORE attempting fade.c because you can't
get fade right until gray works.

Because Mr. Whitley was unable to get to the quiz on thursday, this
Tuesday's quiz will cover elements of BOTH float/double that I covered
last tuesday and the material he covered on thursday.
