Subject: Final exam (This message is being sent to CPSC 101 (301) students and TA's) There are no exemptions from the final exam. The final exam is comprehensive. So yes, even that pesky convert to/from base 3 or 5, and representations of 2's complement, binary and hex are likely to appear!! The objective component will again be drawn almost 100% from the daily quizzes. Hence, if you can answer the quiz questions you should be in good shape, but if you can't, you will be in bad shape. There will again be a programming component which will constitute approximately 30% of the grade. There will be at least one programming problem from the first half of the course, but the focus of the programming problems will be from the last half. Expect to see pixel pointers, ppm headers, inner products and the like. Hope this helps.
