Daniel Cwiertniewicz (March 1993) This is the San Jose Juniper after I had worked on it for a couple of hours. I removed two large branches that spun off in nearly opposite the remaining branch. Then I turned the whole plant on end. In this photo the remaining root mass is to the left in the pot. I pulled as many roots as I could to the right side of the pot. I then wired the plant in very tightly. I hope that by the fall the roots will have filled the pot. I still need to do more work on the tree. I plan to work on straightening the trunk, and then I'll clean up the branches. It is now two months after starting work on this plant, and it still looks healthy. I used Superthrive right after I worked on it. Two weeks ago I placed fertilizer tablets on the soil (1.5 tablets). Let me know what you think.
