15 minute total. Suggested distribution:
- Setup (1 minute)
- Intro and Statement of Need and Background (2-3 minutes)
- Proposed Solution (slides) (2-5 minutes)
- Live Demonstration (5-6 minutes)
- Conclusion, Future Work, Acknowledgements (1-2 minutes)
- Breakdown (1 minute)
- Practice, practice, practice! At least five complete rehersals!

- Title
Include "CPSC 462" or "CPSC 662", "Fall 2009", "Clemson University, School of Computing"
- Outline
List subsequent sections of presentation
- Problem to be Solved / Statement of Need
What were your objectives? Why did you take on *this* project?
What is lacking that your project fills?
- Background
What is the existing situation. What other solutions currently exist? Why are they inadequate?
- Proposed Solution
Brief description using slides. Continue with live demonstration.
- Demonstration
Exit PowerPoint and start demo.
- Sumamry and Conclusions
What can you say about your final project? Successful? Summarize implemented features.
- Future Work
What features would you suggest be includes in future versions of this project?
What capabilities would enhance this tool?
- Acknowledgements
Who helped you? Who gave you advice? Who provided you with snippets of code?

- Questions
Presentation Tips
- Short phrases, not complete sentences
- Use related images, screenshots, graphics (a slide full of only words is tedious)
- Look at the audience in the eye.
- Do not cower behind the podium.
- Gesture toward the screen when emphasizing a point.
- Smile.
- Synchronize movements and hand-offs with your teammate(s).
- Speak loudly and clearly enough for the audience in the back to hear.
- In Acknowledgements, thank everyone who helped your project and your team. Be generous.
