Assignment #5
Text, Billboards, Shooting, Collisions, & more or less
CpSc 481: 3D Game Engine Development

In order to receive credit for this assignment, your solution must be submitted, using the handin command, by 8AM on Saturday, April 29th, 2006.

Your software must conform to the following specifications:

  1. You can work in groups of size 1, 2 or 3. Of course more will be expected of larger size groups!
  2. Paint text onto the scene.
  3. You should use the text facility in OSG to list in your scene the number of collisions occurring in your model.
  4. Use billboarding.
  5. Incorporate shooting into the game, and collision detection.
  6. Demonstrate any other technique or tool that you can.
