Course
Description
and Prereqs:
This seminar will provide a forum by which students and
faculty, who
share an interest in some aspect of computer networking, can
meet
regularly
and discuss topics of interest. The seminar will
be student
led. Students will take turns presenting to the class.
Depending
on how many students are taking the class for credit
determines how
frequently we meet. The seminar might meet bi-weekly if
there are
only a few students signed up.
There are no prerequisites for this seminar. Anyone with
an
interest in networking can participate. However, only CS
graduate
students can take the 950 course for credit (please
follow the
requirements for your respective degree for the final decision
if the
950 counts towards required credit).
Text:
The seminar has no
text. It
is expected that most discussions will be tightly coupled to
one or
more published papers. The schedule will have a pointer
to the
paper(s) that are to be discussed.
