Research Interests
University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, NC
At the University of North Carolina, I
completed a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree (Aug. 1996) in analytical
chemistry. My research, ultralow temperature electrochemistry at
superconducting electrodes, was completed in the lab of
Professor
Royce W. Murray, Kenan Professor of Chemistry and editor of the
American Chemical Society journal
Analytical
Chemistry. The bulk of my knowledge of electrochemistry on
superconducting electrodes was learned from
Dr. Stephen J. Green, then a post-doctoral fellow in
Professor Murray's lab and
currently a lecturer in the
Department of Chemistry at
Exeter University in the United Kingdom.
Clemson University
, Clemson, SC
At Clemson University, I began work in the lab of Dr. Ron Williams in the
Chemistry Department. After a year, I transferred to the Department of
Computer Science to begin pursuit of a Ph.D. in that field. I have not as
yet established my area of research, though support of scientific
equipment and applications will certainly be a strong component of any
research area I might undertake.
