Course Description

This course will introduce you to some of the most important issues and techniques in software engineering. The topics that we will investigate this semester include requirements analysis, specification, design, implementation, quality assurance, maintenance, and project management. In addition to the more traditional topics, we will explore some current trends in software engineering, including topics in component-based software development, product line development, multi-dimensional separation of concerns, and Extreme Programming.
