George is a PhD student at Clemson University in Clemson South Carolina. His
research interests are centered around language issues. Recently there has been
a trend in computer science to focus on the languages and grammar as a data
which can be processed. In contrast to earlier generations of assemblers,
compilers, and interpreters, which take a properly formatted language as input
and output executable code, this new focus exposes the the language as it is
parsed. This library approach to languages makes possible analysis and
transformations at the semantic level.
