Conference
The ACM SouthEast Conference is the oldest continually running annual conference of the ACM. The 47th annual ACMSE will be held March 19-21 at the Clemson University Madren Conference Center.
The registration desk will open at 3:00 PM on Thursday, and 7:00 AM on Friday and Saturday.
Keynote Speaker
Dr. Richard Gabriel will present the opening keynote address. Dr. Gabriel is a Distinguished Engineer at IBM Research, looking into the architecture, design, and implementation of extraordinarily large, self-sustaining systems. He is the award-winning author of four books and a poetry chapbook. He lives in California.

approximately $3,000 which will be given as a door prize to the
school with the most registered attendees. (Clemson is not

Workshops
The ACM SouthEast Conference 2009 committee is pleased to announce two
pre-conference workshops. These workshops will be held in McAdams Hall on
Clemson's campus beginning at 4pm on Thursday march 19th. The workshops are free
but you must be registered for the ACM SEconference before you can register for
the workshop. To register send email to David A. Sykes - SykesDA@wofford.edu -
with the name of the workshop and your conference registration number. Each
workshop is limited to 20 people.
2009 ACM Southeast Digital Animation Festival (SEDAF)
The ACM Southeast Digital Animation Festival (SEDAF) showcases short films composed entirely or partially of computer-generated imagery that educate, entertain, or both! All entries will be judged on visual appeal and conceptual interest. Accepted works will be shown at a special screening during the ACM Southeast Conference.
